Reid Hoffman is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and author, best known as the co-founder of LinkedIn.
He began his career in tech at Apple and later PayPal, where he was a key member of the so-called “PayPal Mafia.” In 2002, he launched LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional networking platform, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2016 for $26.2 billion.
As a partner at Greylock Partners, Hoffman has invested in major tech companies like Airbnb, Facebook, and Convoy.
